Where is the Dao in these timeless
mountains and cloud-shrouded peaks?
Ages has the ancient monastery stood,
yet now to it tourists flock;
Oblivious to the beauty of mystery,
the ordinary people,
For vile profits
exploit the ancient monastery.

[5]North Mount Heng, meaning “Everlasting Mountain,” is located in Shanxi Province. It is one of the five “sacred mountains” of China, all of which boast rich historical and spiritual legacies.
